ClimbLive supports both points-based and attempts-based scoring. In points-based competitions, you can enable extra rules individually or combine them to customize how scores are calculated.
Points for each problem or zone are split equally among the competitors who complete it. If two competitors top a boulder worth 1,000 points, they each earn 500 points. If a third tops it, all three receive 333 points each.
Deduct points for each failed attempt before a competitor reaches the top or a zone. Scores cannot fall below zero.
Note: Fractional point deductions are not supported yet.
Count only the hardest problems toward each competitor's total score. Choose how many problems to include.
Each competitor gets a fixed number of attempts per problem. Attempts beyond that limit earn no points.
